Location
It is known that the extinction of the species is an irreparable loss caused directly by human in his natural medium.
The priority of zoos is to contribute the protection and conservation of the species that are vulnerable or are endangered in their natural habitats, so we can absorb the negative consequences of this irreperable loss.
Nowadays we consider that every action we make to preserve the enviroment has to start with education, because only with knowledge of the richness of our wildlife we can make everyone see the loss is happening.
Thats why in Rio Safari Elche we consider that education is the most important basis where our conservation projects are sustained.
If Rio Safari Elche already offers a didactic visit to all his visitors with a correct sign guides or information boards, our educative department pretends to give a special atention to school kids too, helping with knowledge to the future generation and showing how important is the respect to the enviroment.
Our educative project has three important points in his knowledge in the natural world, is essential to know, difference and distinguish the animal diversity, learning how important is to respect it.
El trabajo en el safari y las funciones de éste, así como la labor del personal encargado del cuidado de los animales son componentes necesarios para reconocer la función de los centros de conservación y la labor que realizan para asegurar la continuidad de las especies.
The center trys to help to achieve this objetive, and we want visitors to undestant it too. We have ato make them understand the continuty of the living creatures, and the richness they complete., because the more we explain the better they understand.
For all that the education department of Rio Safari Elche want to make students visit our center in this relation with animal kingdom. A conection that has less presence is nowadays than years ago.

Educational Exibition
Throw the visit in Rio Safari, you can access to three animal exhibitions that we hope entretain, inform and show you, with a educational point so that the student learns having fun and in contact with animals.
Theses activities have schedule and are:
1.- Babaty: Our asian elephants exhibition, who will help us undestand the difference between the asian elephant and the african one, he will also show us how important this animal is for human where they come from, how necessary his conservation and his habitat survival.
2.- Sealion exhibition: our dear sea lions will show you, throw fun games, what are the difference between a seal and a sealion. We will learn to love these animals and respect the habitat they live in.
3.- Macaw exhibition: our exotic birds will show how intellignet they are and thay can be able of develope certain skills, that make us think and respect the conservation of nature enviroment, we will learn where they come from and how they live in the wildlife.
Educational Small Notebooks
These small notebooks have to be printed (in recycled paper, is possible) for the students, that will have activities in the classroom, before the trip and will check their results in the visit to Rio Safari Elche.
They have foru different small notebooks, depending the level we find: children, first of elementary, second of elementary and third of elementary.
They will find a test to fill after the visit.

QUESTIONNAIRE OPINION
Education Classroom
Any school that want to acced to our cultural classroom will have to request it. The classroom has three matters parts that will be developed with audiovisual media by our zoo, who will resolve any problem and will answer any question.
Actually three sections are: animal world, work in the safari and enviroment education. In a short time more matters will be developed, with other contents and that will be choosen by the tutor.
We beg you to request this activity with time and concrete day and hour.
Tne Smaller Ones
For the children groups other activities will be developed, different to the education classroom. Inside the park we will use practis method to teach other concepts.
Right now we are doing these activities but we are looking forward to develope other more interesting :
Visit to the island where the kids will be in touch with our little goats, they will feed them and learns about their morphology and herbivore alimentation.
Visit to the carnivore installations where they will wacht how they get feeded, theyr morphology and alimantation.
Guided Route
Every day our train introduce us inside our installation where our animals develop their lives. Throw all the path a guide explains us each animal´s biology that we see, we will also tell you curious anecdotes that we are sure you will find very interesting if your enjoyng the activity.
There is no better way to learn what they are teaching you than seeing it for yourself!
